In this stage, the door is locked. You will escape the room by activating a metal press machine and create your own door key! We have provided a full walkthrough to help you solve the puzzles for this room if you are stuck. Please leave comments if you still cannot pass the room!
We have divided the walkthrough guide into 3 sections to help you backtrack if you have already passed the stage. If you are aiming for 100% three star completion the first time around, simply follow the steps in order.
Main Escape | Bonus Star | Quiz Solution
Main Escape
1. Gear: Pick up the small gear on the tray table.
2. Wrench: Pick up the hex wrench on top of the box.
3. Bike: Use the wrench to loosen the gear for the motorcycle to get large gear.
4. Pulley: Open inventory and combine the small and large gears you have found. Insert the combined gears into the machine on the left. The pulley lowers with a machine key for you to grab.
5. Cabinet: Open the cabinet door. Take an envelope from inside the cabinet. Open the envelope and you will get two instruction sheets showing the code for both the bonus star and final door key.
6. Machine: Insert the machine key into the panel. Follow the instruction sheet to fabricate the door key. Enter the code coordinates accordingly.
7. Output: Check the metal press table to pick up the door key.
8. Door: Use the door key to open the door and make your escape!
Bonus Star
B1. After you have activated the metal press machine. Follow the instruction sheet for the bonus star fabrication. Enter the coordinates accordingly based on the picture.
B2. Pick up the bonus star from the metal press output.
Quiz Password
Q1. The secret to the quiz lies in how the cylinders punch down. Observe and notice how the cylinders are moving in a pattern. The order is 3, 1, 4, 2, 5 so that makes the password: 31425.
Q2. Locate the control device on top of the cabinet. Enter the password: 31425 to get the perfect score on the quiz!
I had already done all these but in a different order. I can’t open the door even tho i made the key. Am i still supposed to have the wrench? In my inventory I have the wrench, door key and bonus star
Click the key and click use. And then click the door twice.
Did every step. Press started but no key was made.
Same happened to me. Maybe have to make the key before the star.
Need to make the key first. I’ve made the star first and could not produce the key.
I cannot make the key nor the star?
There is a bug. Y and T are mixed up. Use Ts value for Y and vice versa
For me it was the star that wouldn’t appear. I triple checked I had the correct coordinates in, but no star. I tried both before and after I made the key. Had no trouble making the key. I think it must be a bug.
I had troubles too until I entered coordinates in order of x y z t. Then the items showed up. Hope this helps
