Continuing your escape in Chapter 2 Stage 17, you are in a prison hallway. Our guide provides step-by-step walkthrough to help you unlock the hallway gate fast and easy. We have provided a detailed walkthrough to help you complete the puzzles, or you could simply use the answers to pass this stage fast. We have divided the walkthrough guide into 3 sections to help you backtrack if you have already passed the stage. If you are aiming for 100% three star completion the first time around, simply follow the steps in order.

Main Escape

1. Desk: Go to the prison guard’s desk. Open the drawer and retrieve the key to jail room number 102.

2. Room 102: Unlock room 102 with key.

Enter the room and get an escape bible from the table to the right.

Dismantle the book to find a hidden razor blade.

Move the pillow on the bed. Use the razor blade to cut a hole under the pillow to obtain a stash of black powder.

3. Cabinet: Move back to the hallway. Locate the wall cabinet. Use the powder on the keypad to reveal fingerprints marks. Tap on the keys with fingerprints. The key passcode is 13578.

Unlock the cabinet to get the key of jail room number 101.

4. Room 101: Enter the room 101 with key. Pick up a shoe on the floor. Cut the shoe open with razor blade by combining the two items. Dismantle the broken shoe to retrieve a computer chip with wires.

5. Gate: Go back to the hallway and zoom to the locked gate. Use the razor blade to disconnect the red and green wires. Insert the computer chip.

For this locked gate puzzle, observe there are two signal lights on the computer chip. One green lights up every time a correct button is pressed. Furthermore, every time a correct button is pressed in the correct sequence, two green lights illuminate. Your goal is to find the correct sequence using trial and error.

The correct gate password is 64927. Open the gate and escape now!

Bonus

B1. Pick up a wooden piece from under the prison guard’s desk.

B2. Go into jail room number 102. Locate the second wooden piece between the sink and the heater to the left. Combine the two pieces and complete the bonus star!
