Quiz
Q1. Locate clue on one of the pillars. You are given the clue: Y = 14.
Q2. Go back to the puzzle on the door. List out all the letters and put them in order: ABCDEILMNOPRSY.
Y is the fourteenth letter.
O is the tenth letter.
E is the fifth letter.
I is the sixth letter.
Do the math: O x E + I = 10 x 5 + 6 = 56. The answer to the quiz is 56.
Thanks for the solution.
This room was a bit deceptive. One of the 2 larger squares on the gate is not really a square shape but more like a rhombus shape, so I didn’t count it.
What happened to the letter “V” in the puzzle on the door?! If we count “V”, then the letter “Y” will be fifteenth!
You got it all wrong.
It’s the letters that appear where you should write MANE, which doesn’t have V.
Y=14 in the options given in the puzzle.
Just click in the boxes and count the letters out. Y is 14. No mistake.
What about the V in oblivion. Surely that would make Y=15. Am I wrong???
I agree. They forgot about the V.
There’s no R in the given letters, and don’t forget about V.
correct: ABCDEILMNOPSVY
R in calendar.
Order is ABCDEILMNO PRSVY
Game will not let me use the 4 point star to unlock puzzle in gate. Can’t finish game..
You have to check just the buttons under the bars. When you click any button (all is same), you’ll know why the ‘Y” is 14. There is no ‘R’ in the button.
You don’t need to consider all letter which is on bars.
Just click the button under bars.
The 14th letter is Y. there is no ‘R’ on the button.
Since when do you spell calendar with two ‘e’s?
